Focus:
When a boost LED driver is used to power a high brightness LED, dimming can be accomplished by applying a PWM signal to LED driver's enable pin and varying the duty cycle to control LED brightness. However, that injects high amounts of ripple current on the input power supply. An alternative approach uses a boost LED driver with a level pin that is controlled via a dc voltage. The PWM dimming signal is then passed throw a low-pass RC filter.
