Focus:
Study uses Spice simulation to demonstrate the feasibility of a switched-mode power supply (a buck converter) using V2 (V-squared) control that can operate at temperatures up to 225 degrees C. Operation of V2 control scheme in a buck converter is described and specifications for a V2 controller IC are given.
