0.5 W Non-Isolated Constant Current LED Driver

by no author specified, Power Integrations, Vendor website, Jan 01 2008

Focus:
A design based on the LNK302PN LinkSwitch-TN chip implements a universal-input, 12.9-V 40-mA output constant-current power supply for driving LED lamps such as night lights, neon-sign replacements, and emergency exit signs. This nonisolated buck-boost converter design requires only 9 components. The schematic shows this design powering three LED strings with four LEDs per string.
