Focus:
A design based on the LTC3524 IC implements a programmable TFT LCD bias supply and white LED backlight driver for use in small- to medium-sized color TFT LCD displays. The IC's small package size and 1.5 MHz switching frequency for the LCD and LED drivers enables the design to fit within 120 mm2 of pc board area.
