This 6 and a half minute video offers a demonstration of the company’s VPTPCM-12 power conditioning module (PCM), which is installed in front of VPT’s 28-V input dc-dc converters (in the case the VPT-100 with 5-V output) to achieve compliance with MIL-STD-1275 transient specifications. The video demonstrates operation of the PCM under the 6-V transient as well as the 100-V 50-milisecond spike specified by MIL-STD-1275. The video also demonstrates the boost-mode operation of the PCM. Test setups for these demos are described along with tips on how to make these tests.
